Choose and switch workspaces

Your Bridge account can have access to more than one workspace. Each workspace has its own projects, people, settings, and permissions. Switching workspaces changes the context of your actions.

Choose a workspace after sign-in

On iPhone or iPad, Bridge shows Choose workspace when you need to select a workspace. Tap the workspace you intend to use and complete any security prompt.

On the web, you may see Select a tenant. Select the tenant you need and continue with the confirmation shown. In these guides, tenant means workspace.

A workspace is not the same as a project. Open the correct workspace first, then find the project inside it.

Switch on iPhone or iPad

  1. Open your Profile.
  2. Choose Switch Workspace in Settings.
  3. Select the workspace you need.
  4. Complete its password or passkey prompt if one appears.
  5. Check the workspace name before editing or uploading anything.

For a new sign-in or a workspace you have not prepared on this device, connect to the service first. Offline use depends on the saved session and authorized information already available on that device.

If a workspace is missing

Check these points before creating another account:

  • Are you using the phone number the administrator added?
  • Did the administrator add you to this particular workspace?
  • Is your membership still active?
  • Are you looking for a project name in the workspace list?

Ask the workspace administrator to check your membership. A workspace can disappear from your available choices when your access is removed.

Why access can change after switching

Your role can differ between workspaces. Being able to edit a project in one workspace does not grant editing rights in another.

A workspace can also enable a different set of Bridge tools. If an area is missing, check the active workspace and your roles and permissions.
