Choose how to use Bridge
Use the same Bridge account to work in a browser and on your iPhone or iPad. Your active workspace and permissions determine the information you can open.
Choose a platform
| Platform | Start here | Useful to know |
|---|---|---|
| Web | Open Bridge. | Use the web application for workspace administration and everyday project, task, inventory, and file workflows. |
| iPhone | Open the Bridge app supplied through your installation link. | Prepare downloads before working without a connection. |
| iPad | Open the Bridge app on your iPad. | Uses the same account and workspace model as iPhone; available space can change the layout. |
| Android | Follow Bridge's release announcements. | Android is planned for 2027. These mobile guides describe the iPhone and iPad application. |
The iPhone and iPad build covered by these guides requires iOS or iPadOS 18.6 or later. Check the installation listing for the requirements of the particular build you are installing. A source version or documentation snapshot does not prove which build is installed on your device.
If your installation uses TestFlight, install the build through the invitation provided by Bridge. These guides do not require a particular distribution method.
Use your existing account
If someone has added you to a workspace, sign in using the same phone number they used. Creating a different account or workspace will not move your project access.
If you are starting your own workspace, follow Create your first workspace. If you already have access, follow Sign in.
Expect differences between web and mobile
Web screens may use tenant where the mobile application says workspace. Both refer to the workspace context in which you are working.
Actions can also depend on:
- Your role and access to the particular project or organization.
- Which features your workspace has enabled.
- Your app version, device capabilities, and connection.
The mobile offline guide describes native iPhone and iPad behavior. Its download controls are not a browser offline mode.
Device permissions
Some actions need a device permission or compatible hardware, such as taking a photo, scanning a document, or discovering a label printer. Grant access when you choose to use that action. Room scanning requires a supported device with LiDAR; owning an iPhone or iPad alone does not guarantee that capability.
